Scott Aztec Ski Hire and Equipment Review

Hugely popular with testers in Italy this year, the Aztec is a mix of Freeride and carver that has a strong construction that grips into hard snow even though there you have a 78mm base. Good intermediates can ski these, but advanced and experts will get the most out of them and will relish the ability to rip it up at speed on piste and hammer through crud or powder at will. The K2 Apache Crossfire would be a more piste based all-rounder or try the Salomon Extra Hot for similar thrills, finally the Movement Demon and Line also gets the thumbs up and is a tasty alternative.
