Volkl Gotama Ski Hire and Equipment Review

The Gotama is Volkl's range topper and has big dimensions to match. As with most Volkl skis they have a wood core and feel stable, several friends have also tried these skis and we all found them fine in powder and extremely smooth, but very tough to handle on firmer, older snow. Sanouk is the limited edition ski from Volkl, but you may find them in the bigger resorts, the dimensions are beefed up underfoot, so floatation shouldn't be a problem, they are suitable only for the steepest and deepest- Swedish ski bum cult skis in the making
