Description of Donnersbach from

The Alpe d'Huez features a large skiable area accessible to all skier levels. Beginners can enjoy the well-equipped lower slopes, while more experienced skiers can try out a steep run and slopes as high as they could possibly wish for. The resort also has the longest black run in Europe: the famous Sarenne (magnificent!) with a 2200 meter descent. The massif offers an enchanting panoramic view with a lot of sun thanks to its placement. Resort life is very active and offers many activities. All of these wonderful features overshadow the rather pitiful architecture and development of this little town.
