More sidecut, more fun, less work, the new GS 9 looks almost identical to it's faster sibling, but it is much more manageable, and unless you are doing serious race training then it is the better ski. Unlike the GS 11 it does not adhere to FIS regulations, so it has more "turn-in" due to it's voluptuous shape and is better suites to expert and advanced skiers wanting a recreational GS ski. Also try the new 2V from Salomon, the Fischer RC4's and the Dynastar Speed 66 for comparison.
