A very strong ride from the sandwich construction that includes two laminates of magnesium to keep the skis smooth on icy race pistes or in general free skiing which these skis can also manage. Happiest when on firm, well groomed runs as you’d expect, the RS can be used as a top end all-round GS ski and is a little more forgiving than the Atomic or "race-stock" skis from a few of the manufacturers. If it’s great stability and bite into the snow, with a piquant of power and speed then grab a pair, if they are not available in your resort of choice perhaps try the Salomon Equipe 2V or Dynastar Speed 66.
