Fischer Bigstix 75 Ski Equipment Review

Skied on a pair of these for season out in banff last year virtually every day........awesome. Truly an all-mountain ski, great for ripping long GS turns, strong enough to blast through the deepest crud and wide enough to play in the deeps. A ski for the energetic, strong or heavy skier-needs to be skied hard to get the best out of it. Can do short radius, needs a lot of effort to be put into it, but worth it as you get a lot of pop from the tail out of the turn. Beware the stiff flex if you aren't strong/skilled enough to control it as it will snap you off balance. Great all round ski, probably best for a heavy or strong person or a truly advanced skier. If a more forgiving ski is desired, the K2 Axis XP, Dynastar Intuitiv, Atomic R:11 or R:Ex (depending how fat you want to go) or the Bandit B2 (if you can afford it) is probably better for you.
