Tested and approved but not the most inspirational ski. The Recon is a bit sledge-hammer-like for me. They are powerful but lack subtlety. Positively they are quite forgiving but they don’‘t inspire like some of K2s skis, especially the amazing Factory series models. If you are an experienced skier and don’‘t fancy riding a pair of twin-tip skis then you may love the Recon and they are a very popular model that are very capable both on and off piste. Summing up they are a fine but conservative all-terrain charger with lots of power in reserve and a modern if understated performance and asthetic.
