I have just bought a pair of these magnificent skis. I am 32 years old, have been skiing for 25 years now. My last pair of skis were Stöckli Laser FX RS, 2.05 m. I have tested every new ski in the last 4 years to find a ski that could even come close to these ones. I have finally found it! For me a really good ski is 100% stable at (extreme) high speed, also when not constantly making turns (therefore I wasn't happy with all the carve skis I have tested). Because of this stability I take for granted that I will have to work a little harder in turning. The Rossignol RPM 21 X Pulsion is truly a perfect match, since I spend about 50% on piste and 50% off piste. It's the Porsche Cayenne of skis. Continue the same pace on groomed pistes and blast through rough and tricky terrain just as easily. Good performance on moguls too. Great ski for good and aggressive skiers who still can not forget classic ski technique, but do now how to carve...never imagined 1.84m could give a 2.0+m feeling!
