For several seasons the skis have, certainly on the World Cup, being getting larger at the tip; this year Rossignol have taken this theory and applied it to their shop skis with the Oversize concept. They are remarkably better than last years damp squibs, they are now lively, fast and possess furious grip that almost never gets shaken. I skied these on a very cold January morning and the snow was bullet proof, they where excellent and engaged much earlier in the turn to give more confidence and a direct line in the gates. The only down side was the lack of drive at the end of the turn, and the Atomic and Salomon felt quicker edge-to-edge out of the regular GS skis.
