Ski of the Year in many 2004 tests, these are the reference all-mountain ski, it is smoother and grippier than it’s arch rival the Scream Hot, the Hot being more nimble, but this a true one ski can do it all, there are plenty of instructors and seasonaires using this ski whether for alpine, touring or free-heel telemarking. The Head Monster’s, Scream Hot’s, Atomic Metron and fischer’s Big Stix spring to mind, as do the more unconventional K2 Apache recon, Volkl 724 Exp or the Movement Demon’s which come highly recommended.
