Big, but not a bruiser, I felt that they are quite heavy, but that could be put down to the test binding, they are super smooth though and really plough through the rough stuff, it’s not often we get powder at a test. Very popular with the powder fraternity due to their solid construction and bomb-proof feel in all situations. Advanced skiers may find them a little much and may prefer the Scratch BC which if set-up right can be more forgiving. There is a glut of powder performers out there, the easiest is perhaps the Pocket Rocket and the most fun is the Seth Pistol that makes you feel completely invincible! Also give the Gotama from Volkl a go if conditions are tough, they are incredibly smooth.
