Based upon the older slalom design these skis turn upon a penny, they are very easy to ski even at the 500 level, the 500 is a little stiffer and will grip and cut into the snow more, but a reasonable intermediate skier with a few weeks under their belt shouldn’t be deterred as they are quite effortless. All the manufacturers have good alternatives, the choice is whether you would be happier trying a ski that turns in a shorter radius or a faster, longer one.
