All new for 2005, the Z5 is a top of the range advanced to expert cruiser that is extremely forgiving, stable at speed and retains excellent grip on hard, icy snow. With 68mm underfoot they are east to balance on even on quite rough snow, but they are aimed at piste skiers who like doing medium sized turns at less than race speed. Very much the Coupe’s of the Rossi range, they are great for skiers looking for no compromise comfort and a smooth, mildly sporty ride.

This was my first year back on the mountain after years since I raced straight skis in school. I'm not a speed freak but these skis gave me all the speed and enjoyment I could hope for. I rented this ski late last winter and I can't believe the difference it made. I was skiing faster in all conditions with more stability even on our eastern hard pack and crud. It was forgiving but still performed very well with no chatter when I pushed it and myself. I am 6 foot and 240lbs and had problems with other skis being too soft with poor control. I found I was more comfortable and had a ball on the 160's while finding total confidence in this great ski. Yes, I have bought a pair. Give these a demo and I'm sure most of you will be pleased.
