Modestly named but actually a very accomplished ski, a great friend and pisteur (ski patroller) in Val d’Isere was a tester for Scott and used a pair of these all last season. They look like a mix of Salomon Prolink technology mated to a Fischer slalom ski, there is a lot of shape and the Prolink's help to control torsion and stability, but at the end of the day they do work and are a very active and lively package for advanced and experts alike. As a pure race ski they are probably not quite in the elite, 9S RD or Nordica Dobermann SL, category but compared to the regular slalom skis and the benchmark for slalom versatility, the Salomon 3V, they hold up very well and are exciting, effective and fun to ski.
