It’s a few years since Scott originally launched a twin-tipped ski, then it was a skinny park ski, what marks this mid-fat out is the quality of finish and construction, hopefully they’ll be like this if you rent them, but they are very capable, have good kick and a very useable sidecut that makes them a joy to ski in most conditions. 1080’s are the perennial reference as are the Rossi Scratch FS, check out the other manufacturers also, especially Line.
