Freeride skis are generally wider under foot to give greater stability at speed and that is exactly the difference between the two designs. Personally I like the nimbleness of the Freestyle model, but if you like more support under-foot then you’ll love the relaxed silky ride in powder snow. N.b. I said “in” the snow, they are awful on hard pack or frozen cruddy snow, it’s gotta’ be deep!
