The Formigal ski area is located in a natural snow pocket, and therefore you can expect excellent snow conditions during your trip. Thanks to this location and the resort's fantastic snow making facilities Formigal has recently been able to start the winter season before the other resorts in the area - and Formigal's season has lasted until the start of May. The snow is retained well on the resort's mainly north and north west facing slopes, and as the ski area covers grassy meadows there aren't any nasty rocks to be found under the snow. |
