Weather Formigal with Snowrental

The climate in Formigal during winter is what you'd expect from a ski resort high in the Pyrenees - cold temperatures and plenty of snow. The winter season starts in November, often earlier than the other resorts in the area, and runs until early May. This long season is possible because of Formigal's location in the Pyrenees, the excellent artificial snow making technology, and the north and north west facing slopes. All these factors combine to make Formigal an ideal winter sports resort. The snow is thick and it lasts thanks to the slope orientation.
