Anzere with Snowrental

Located in the sunniest part of Switzerland the purpose-built ski resort of Anzère overlooks the spectacular 4,000m high peaks of the Valais Alps and is the perfect winter sports destination as the sunshine combines with abundant snowfall to make a picture perfect winter wonderland.
As Anzère was built on the site of ancient pastures around the resort traditional wooden and stone structures speckle the landscape and contribute to the rural mountain atmosphere of the village. Completely car-free the centre of Anzère is filled with pretty wooden chalets and has everything you could need for a great winter holiday including shops, services, restaurants, and bars. Directly from this picturesque village you have access to the fantastic snow sports terrain of Anzère with its 52km of mixed level slopes, extensive off-piste powder fields, and sports facilities, like nursery areas, freestyle snowpark, and half-pipe. From this winter sports playground more extreme sports can also be enjoyed with heli-skiing trips organised up to the Wildhorn Glacier, and activities like paragliding and ice climbing available.
The landscape of Anzère is also perfect for hiking and cross-country skiing. Covering a variety of terrain from forest to high mountainsides there are many marked trails for both activities including some suitable for snowshoeing, and there are even organised night walking tours of the area which include a meal of Raclette in a traditional restaurant. Other evening and après ski activities in Anzère include skating on the 300m2 ice rink in the village square, enjoying the facilities at the new Wellness Centre, or taking part in the fun events which the tourist office organise throughout the season. Evenings are also when the restaurants and bars of Anzère come alive, and for the late-night après skiers the town has bars with music as well as two nightclubs.
