Anzère's micro-climate is excellent for snow with around 800cm of natural snow falling on the resort every year. From December you can expect to find good levels of snow in the Anzère ski area and thanks to the low temperatures in the region this snow cover lasts until spring. The team at Anzère are experts in snow and maintain the pistes excellently, and just in case they feel the snow has deteriorated or needs to be enhanced in places they can use the artificial snow cannons to add to the cover on a number of the slopes.
