Across the three peaks of Weisshorn, Brüggerhorn, and Hörnli, Arosa has 70km of varied marked pistes. The gentle slopes around Tschuggen are ideal for beginners, and intermediates are well catered for with around 60km of blue and red runs to explore. There's a nice blue run to cruise down from Brüggerhorn to Pratschli, and the steepest of the intermediate slopes are found in the Weisshorn area. Advanced skiers and boarders should hire a guide and go off-piste. The area between Arosa and Leizerheide has some fantastic terrain which will challenge most experts. Arosa's snowboarding credentials are very good. Home to the world snowboard championships, the facilities are excellent, the snowpark has loads of obstacles and there's a massive 130m super half-pipe. |
