The ski area in Crans Montana Aminona attracts the world's best skiers for the many Alpine skiing and snowboard competitions. However the slopes can be enjoyed by everyone from novice level up. Newbies will find ideal slopes for them on the resort's golf course, which is transformed every winter into a snowy playground. Intermediate level skiers and snowboarders will find plenty of slopes to enjoy across the ski area, a particularly good long trail can be found down the Plaine Morte glacier. The downhill men's course is great for experts, and the more adventurous can head off-piste with a guide to explore the hidden treasures of the area. Freestylers certainly haven't been forgotten at Crans Montana Aminona, there's a fantastic 50,000m2 snowpark, and most of the area is served by gondolas rather than surface lifts. |
