Sitting on a sunny plateau overlooking the Rhone Valley, Crans Montana Aminona receives an incredible amount of snow and sunshine every year. On average 480cm of snow falls on the resort, allowing the season to start in November and run until May. During these months skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the amazing snow sports on the mainly south facing ski areas under the lovely winter sun. Cold temperatures are obviously required to produce and maintain the snow in the resort but thanks to the sun it's never normally bitterly cold.
