Engelberg has 82km of marked slopes, these are comprised of mainly intermediate standard runs but there are beginner areas around the mountain and some gentle slopes beneath the Brunni cable car. Experts have a lot of black pistes to enjoy in the Trübsee/Titlis area. Titlis in particular is perfect for experts with steep blacks, crevasse-strewn glacier runs, and cliffs. Not forgetting the long slopes from the top of the mountain to the bottom, the longest being a huge 12km trail. Off-piste is what Engelberg does best, and there are areas to suit intermediate levels and up. Much of the ungroomed snow is accessible to confident intermediates, and for the more advanced Engelberg has unlimited couloirs, cliffs, and generally extreme terrain. |
