Engelberg receives an average of 200cm of snow a year, and thanks to most of the slopes being north facing and above 1,800m this snow is well preserved throughout the season. For an amazing seven to eight months of the year Engelberg is a snow-sure with long-lasting snow and fantastic glacial skiing and snowboarding available at 3,000m. On the lower altitude slopes this incredibly long season, from October until May, is possible with the help the resort's artificial snow making machines. These ensure great snow cover during your holiday to Engelberg regardless of where you choose to ski or board.
