Weather Grindelwald with Snowrental

Lying in the secluded Lutschine valley, Grindelwald enjoys a quiet position below the tree-line. Most of the runs back into the resort from the higher altitudes pass through trees and give sheltered places to ski if the weather isn't perfect or if visibility is a problem higher up. The resort has a generally cold climate in winter but especially so in January. This not only helps preserve the snow, but is also particularly good for the annual ice carving festival which Grindelward hosts every January.
