Overall Les 4 Vallées receives excellent snowfall every year and has ideal snow conditions from November until April. La Tzoumaz, in particular, has incredible snow due to its mainly north-facing slopes - the snow here lasts longer than other areas in Les 4 Vallées. The south-facing slopes around the resort are obviously warmer but thankfully are below the tree-line so this helps retain the snow cover. La Tzoumaz receives an average of 300cm of snowfall every year and maintains perfect snow conditions through a combination of slope orientation, tree-cover, and artificial snow making facilities.
