Laax with Snowrental

Just one and a half hours' drive from Zurich airport, the village of Laax is incredibly easy to get to and has some fantastic snow sports facilities. Part of the LAAX ski resort, Laax is linked with the other the villages of Flims and Falera. In the largest and furthest East canton in Switzerland the resort sits at the foot of the Vorab glacier and is surrounded by idyllic mountain villages and spectacular views.
Covering an area of 100km2 LAAX has 220km of pistes across varied terrain there are skiing and snowboarding opportunities for all levels. And if you're a freestyle fanatic the resort of LAAX is unmissable. There are four snow parks, a freestyle piste, the biggest half-pipe and the first indoor freestyle centre in Europe. And if you're inpatient for some freestyle action the glacier has a terrain park open early in the season.
No matter what your age, from the village of Laax you'll find sports and activities to suit you. Awarded the "Families Welcome" seal of quality from the Swiss Tourist Board there are loads of facilities for kids, including a fantastic Snow Wonderland where children can learn to ski with the magician Ami Sabi. There are toboggan runs, sleigh rides, and dog sledding for all the family. And for the adventurers the resort has heli-skiing, paragliding, and vast off-piste areas.
Laax itself is split into four parts, Laax Murschetg, Laax Dorf, Laax Cons, and Laax Salums. Laax Salums and Laax Dorf are the most peaceful villages where you'll find total relaxation during your holiday. Laax Murschetg is the biggest and liveliest village of the four and is home to the base station, this youthful village is where you'll find most of the après ski scene. Laax Cons sits between Laax Murschetg and Laax Dorf, and has access to the best of both the villages.
