Snow Laax

Considered to be one of the most reliable ski resorts for snow, LAAX receives around 720cm of snowfall every year and has snow sports areas available up on the Vorab glacier. Overall around 70% of the slopes are above 2,000m so the snow preservation in the resort is excellent. The season starts in early December and thanks to the cold temperatures and abundant snow you can ski and board from Laax until May. Sometimes the bright sun causes the natural snow on the lower slopes to melt, but the resort has advanced artificial snow making capabilities and four snow-sure runs down to the village.
