With 70% of the slopes above 2,000m you'll find abundant snow levels in the ski resort of LAAX. The main ski area opens at the beginning of December and stays open until May, during this period low temperatures can be expected - especially in January when the highest temperature is normally around 5°C, and the lowest -4°C. About 750cm of snow falls every year onto the South-East facing slopes, which means you can ski or board down the high altitude slopes of LAAX while enjoying the many hours of sunshine the area receives.
