Les Diablerets Ski Resort Information

In the Vaudoises Alps, Les Diablerets is an unspoiled mountain village with access to excellent snow sports in both winter and summer - sitting at the foot of one of Switzerland's most beautiful glaciers there's snow to be found from Les Diablerets all year round. The 30km of slopes on the Diablerets Glacier combined with the other 95km of slopes in the area make the village of Les Diablerets a skiers and snowboarders paradise. And the short transfer time from Geneva, only around an hours' drive, means Les Diablerets is the ideal destination for weekend breaks as well as longer holidays.
The ski area of Les Diablerets is split into three parts and each have their own great qualities. On the glacier there's the Glacier3000 area which is home to some of the most challenging terrain and is a must for experts. Isenau is the smallest ski area but perfect for beginners. And Meilleret is the biggest area with the highest number of runs, most of which are blue or red, and it has links to the Villars ski resort.
Also in the Glacier3000 area there's the Monsterpark, open early in the winter season this park is world renowned and used by many professional freestylers for pre-season training. There's also a snowpark in Isenau along with boardercross course. Both parks have various levels of features so are accessible to all.
With its abundance of snow and beautiful scenery the Les Diablerets resort has lots of activities which allow you to experience the area in different ways. Ski hiking is a popular pursuit from Les Diablerets, along with snowshoe walking and winter hiking. All of these allow you to discover hidden aspects of the landscape that you don't see from the normal downhill slopes. Sledging, dog sled rides, and snowscooters are faster fun ways to see the area, and if you want to explore from above you can try paragliding or heli-skiing.
After all your adventures Les Diablerets is a great village to return to in the evenings. Oozing with charm, the restaurants and bars cater for the mainly Swiss clientele and allow you to experience an authentic mountain atmosphere. Although the nightlife is quiet the après ski hours are very enjoyable and allow you to recharge before your next big day.
