With the cooling 27 billion metric tonnes of ice in the Aletsch glacier right next to Riederalp you can be sure there'll be loads of snow in the area for you to enjoy during your winter sports holiday. Historically from December to April the best snow conditions are found in Riederalp and the Aletsch ski area, but in case the natural snow isn't perfect for skiing and boarding during these months the team in the ski area have 102 snow cannons with which they can produce loads of artificial snow on the slopes that need an extra boost. |
