At altitudes between 1,500m and 3,330m Verbier has incredible snow conditions throughout its season, from November until the end of April. There's an annual snowfall of 550cm and the resort has 50 snow canons which, combined with state-of-the-art piste maintenance, keep the 100km of slopes in Verbier in top condition. There's always fresh powder to be found around Verbier, it has some of the best off-piste skiing and snowboarding in the Alps. This is great for the more adventurous out there as well as everyone else in Verbier, as the massive off-piste opportunities reduce wear and tear on the slopes. |
